Our story

Arctic Steel was formally established in 2021, but the foundation was laid years earlier within the Aarbakke group. What began as supplying surplus steel developed into a fully independent company, created to meet a clear need for a reliable supplier that combines quality materials, expertise, and responsive service.

Independence opened the door to a wider market, allowing Arctic Steel to grow quickly and earn trust across demanding industries. With acquisitions such as Alisteel (2020) and Prosessmetall (2024), the company has strengthened both its capacity and range. Today, we serve clients in Norway and abroad, recognized for our focus on quality, traceability, and great service.

Our Facilities

We have recently moved into a brand-new 7,600 m² facility in Bryne, designed to raise efficiency, capacity, and service to the next level. Located close to Aarbakke’s base, the site features a modern warehouse with smarter logistics and improved accessibility. With more room for inventory and the option for local clients to pick up steel around the clock, the new facility ensures better availability, faster handling, and a stronger foundation for future growth.
